Concierge psychiatry in Marbella: the Reconecta programme

For the periods when a monthly appointment is not enough: weekly consultations, an agreed channel between sessions, integrated psychotherapy and one psychiatrist — me — holding the whole picture. Intensive, discreet and deliberately small.

  • Weekly 60–90 min consultations
  • Agreed contact between sessions
  • Marbella · online · home visits
  • Places strictly limited

This is a private practice, not an emergency service. If there is an immediate risk to life, call 112. Spain’s suicide-prevention helpline is 024 (24 hours).

This guide is part of the main page for a psychiatrist in Marbella.

More continuity when it can change the outcome

Some situations — a resistant depression, a fragile period after a crisis, a complex medication change, a life that has come apart — need decisions taken week by week, not month by month. In the intensive phase you are seen every week, changes are reviewed while they are happening, and the treatments you already have (medication, psychotherapy, other specialists) are coordinated into one coherent plan, always with your consent.

Places are strictly limited because each one requires my personal, exclusive dedication: promised continuity has to be deliverable, not decorative. The programme is temporary by design — as you recover stability, consultations are spaced out and autonomy returns to you.

Reconecta is not an emergency service and does not replace hospital care when that is what safety requires; urgent priority appointments and the emergency services (112) exist for those moments.

Questions

Reconecta — frequently asked questions

What exactly is the Reconecta programme?

An intensive, strictly private outpatient programme led personally by me: a weekly 60–90 minute consultation during the intensive phase, an agreed clinical channel between sessions, integrated psychotherapy, coordination of your other treatments and home visits when clinically useful. You keep living your life; the treatment gains density.

Is this like being admitted, or a day hospital?

No. It is not an admission, a day hospital, an American-style IOP or round-the-clock cover. It is individual outpatient psychiatry with much greater continuity. If your situation ever needs hospital-level care, I will say so clearly and help organise it.

Why are places so limited?

Because each place requires my personal, exclusive dedication — the weekly time, the between-session availability and the coordination are promises I have to be able to keep. I would rather decline a place than dilute the programme.

Can I reach you between consultations?

Yes, through the channel, time bands and rules we agree at the start — that structure is what makes real availability possible. It is not an emergency line: if there is immediate risk, call 112 (Spain’s suicide helpline is 024).

Can part of the programme run online or at home?

Yes. Consultations can combine my Marbella practice, secure video and, in selected cases, home visits in and around Marbella. The format follows clinical sense: some assessments and situations require being in person.

How much does it cost and how long does it last?

There is no single fee, because plans differ in frequency, coordination and availability. After the initial assessment you receive a written proposal — intensity, objectives, duration and cost — and decide with everything in front of you. The intensive phase is temporary by design: the goal is needing me less.
